DAG is a Product Design and Development studio located in Tel-Aviv, Israel.
Established in 2008 by Tal Mor and Shlomi Azulay, DAG provides a creative environment linking culture, product and industry.
Assimilating processes of Design thinking* as an integral part of the method we work by, allows us to dedicate ourselves to the development of innovative user- friendly, products, while focusing on the project’s characteristic features so as to realize most accurately the company and its brand's* purposes.
For each project, we study the distinctive features of the brand and expose its strategic and marketing targets, while aiming always to suggest and offer alternative uses and designs having reference to the evolving cultural and technical environment of its user.
In addition to being a product-development studio, we aim to be a creative house that specializes in designing consumer items and contemporary objects that require expertise and understanding of the on-going changing worlds of fashion, trends and culture.
We aspire to deal with projects that demand true knowledge of the market and product design solutions that create useful objects which are also aesthetic, innovative, and coherent to the last detail.
In order to accomplish our services we work, side by side with the most professional engineers, branding strategists and graphic artists to enable us to offer our clients all-inclusive solutions for each and every project.
* Design thinking (wikipedia) is a process for practical, creative resolution of problems or issues that looks for an improved future result. It is the essential ability to combine empathy, creativity and rationality to meet user needs and drive business success. Unlike analytical thinking, design thinking is a creative process based around the "building up" of ideas. There are no judgments early on in design thinking. This eliminates the fear of failure and encourages maximum input and participation in the ideation and prototype phases.
* Brand Engagement (wikipedia) is a term used to describe the process of forming an attachment (emotional and rational) between a person and a brand. An engagement between a brand and its consumers/potential consumers is a key objective of a brand marketing effort. In general, the ways a brand connects to its consumer is via a range of "touch points" -- that is, a sequence or list of potential ways the brand makes contact with the individual. Examples include retail environments, advertising, online, and the design of the product/service itself.
You may contact us in the following ways:
Industrial Design: For companies without integrated design units we offer our product design and development services to carry out projects.
Long Term Support: The Studio may be engaged as an extension to the Company itself, to work efficiently with the existing organization to provide effective solutions to problems as they arise. Such service is recommended for small and medium companies lacking internal creative teams.
Additional Services: We offer complimentary development services for branding and consulting companies for strategic implementation to companies that are interested in follow-up and integration of their work with that of the companies hiring their services, and to serve as a creative branch for the implementation of large projects.
We believe that the final result reflects a designer who brings his or her own world into the project. This is what you can expect from our designs.
